Monday Morning Vendor Highlight: Lena from Hair That Moves (New Hampshire Wedding Hair Stylist)

Every Monday we are going to be featuring a short Q & A with a local vendor who we love to work with and is, all around, awesome; and this week it’s New Hampshire Wedding Hair Stylist Lena at Hair That Moves!

Q: What was it about Weddings that made you get in the industry?
A wedding day is a day that people dream of for a long time. I think of my job as an honor to be chosen to share it with these families. It is fun to help them create their look for this special day.
I really enjoy people and creating different styles and looks for each individual bride and her wedding theme or feel.

Q: What is your favorite family vacation memory?
As a child my family would take vacations to a lake house in Maine. We did all of the fun things you would imagine, swim, canoe, fish, ride bikes, lots of bug bites, campfires and friends. These memories are so special to us that just a few years ago we started that tradition up again with our extended families and it is equally as fun! There is something about nastalga and the absolute calm and tranquility of a still lake with the sound of loons calling!

Q: Tell me 5 things I would see when I walk into your office.
Well, lots of things are happening in my office. You would see photos of the ones I love the most. I like to look at them often. You would see wedding magazines that I reference or have been featured in. You would see bridal contracts and organized folders to reference at all times and you would see paperwork on top of my printer, those are my works in progress. Currently that is paperwork to launch a food collection for the back pack program in our towns that help feed insecure children. It has to be approved and then sent to each school for kids to bring in food items and hopes to fill our shelves! My front and center, BIGGEST one is my to do list! I always have one and love to cross those lists off when they are done!
